Cyprus approves 2026 support schemes for mountain and remote‑area residents

The Cabinet has approved the launch of the 2026 support schemes for residents of mountain communities and for non‑retired workers living in remote areas, Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou said. Ioannou said the decision reaffirms the government’s commitment to policies that promote development and support local communities.
