Man arrested at Larnaca airport on pending US warrant

A 33-year-old man was arrested at Larnaca airport on Tuesday on an arrest warrant issued in the United States for financial crimes, the police announced on Wednesday. The police said the man will be taken before the Limassol district court on Wednesday to begin extradition procedures. Police investigations are ongoing.
