Police officer arrested, suspended

As part of an ongoing investigation. Nicosia CID arrested a Special Police Officer on Saturday, the police announced on Sunday. He was immediately suspended, following instructions of the chief of police. According to reports, the officer was suspended after his wife reported him for threatening to kill her.
