A single candidate registered on behalf of the Patriotic Lacedaemonian Movement party on Wednesday morning. Alexia Hadjichristoforou is the party’s sole candidate, and is standing for election in the Larnaca district. The name “Lacedaemonian” was a demonym used for the residents of ancient Sparta and the surrounding region of Laconia.
